ARCHITECTS

CMC Designworks

CMC Designworks is based in Kuala Lumpur with extensive experience in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and China. The practice adopts an environmental approach that includes planning, architecture and interior design.

The CMC studio is built around a small group of individuals, each with particular expertise in different aspects of a multi-disciplinary craft that integrates aesthetic exploration with local building technology. The practice continues to develop an intuitive design approach that combines modern ideas and concepts rooted by local context and culture.

Current assignments range from private residences, apartments and resorts to commercial buildings both locally and regionally. These include private luxury residences in Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi. In Johor, the firm is the principal designer at Leisure Farm, an award-winning boutique development.

AJ+C

Allen Jack + Cottier is a leading Australian architectural practice with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing and Shanghai. Their landmark architectural projects have changed the way people live, work and play.

Established in 1952, the practice combines over 55 years of experience with a youthful ability to see things in new and dynamic ways.

AJ+C believes successful architecture should add quality to people’s lives and improve communities. This philosophy incorporates a long-term interest in environmental sustainability, in conservation and in urban design.

Hamiltons

Hamiltons International designed the Royal Lodge at 99 East. This London based firm recently opened its Asian operations, with offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Andy Miller, a former senior partner at Foster & Partners, runs the offices and designed the Royal Lodge at 99 East for His Royal Highness, the Sultan of Kedah.

Andy has spent many years in the region and has designed individual homes in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, while in Malaysia he led the design team on the multiple award-winning Troika, a condominium development in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Zaini Dubus Richez Sdn Bhd (ZDR)

ZDR is an award-winning design consultancy firm specializing in architecture, interior design and urban design. It was established in 1997 in partnership with Dubus Richez, a Paris-based architectural practice.

ZDR’s commissions vary from small/medium projects to large-scale urban and integrated schemes, and they demonstrate strong contrasts in design, concept and solution. Many of these projects were awarded as the result of architectural practices.

ZDR has designed a collection of thirteen tropical resort villas in the Forest Village at 99 East.

Ross Watson Golf Course Design

Australian golf course designer Ross Watson, is renowned for his ability to create spectacular golf courses which both challenge and invigorate golfers of every playing level.

Having designed courses all over Australia, South-East Asia and Japan, Watson has designed a course which will greatly enhance the development of 99 East.
