99 EAST GOLF CLUB LANGKAWI
We are delighted to announce the recent re-opening of 9 fully refurbished holes at 99 East. We are the first golf course in Malaysia to install Zeon Zoysia grass, which is now fully grown in on our fairways and tees, with totally refurbished TifEagle greens. We have also undertaken a complete rebuilding programme for our unique bunkers, all of which have new drainage, Sandtrapper and triple washed sand. We are working on the completion of the remaining 9 holes and permanent clubhouse by mid 2019 and hope to have a further 3 holes completed and ready for play by early in the new year. In the meantime we have a new pro shop at The Fat Frog and golfers are able to enjoy a pre or post golf meal or drink at the highly regarded Fat Frog restaurant. Long wild grasses and reeds dominate the out of play areas together with the signature rice terraces, both distinctive features of this 7,330 yard championship course that integrates native forest, wetlands and an orchard valley, with views both over the ocean and across the entire island to the west.
